Video Cameras circa 1985-1986
Working on a story where a major scene takes place in 1986 involving a VHS home video camera. I'm looking for any information about brand names, model numbers, accessories, battery life, size weight, anything...just has to be produced or on the market before 1986 and be something that a typical middle class family would own, no professional equipment.

The one my dad had was bigger than that. It was practically the size of a vcr. And it was grey.

They were huge. I remember a friend's camera that was fairly small for that age, but it was attached to the VCR. Actually, VCR was in two parts, one was tuner other the recorder, and you needed to drag the recorder part with you while filming.
