This is such great news. I think it's pretty clear the federal government isn't going to do much to reverse this ruling. Thoughts?

I know shit happens within the military that shouldn't happen as it is but I'm sure if anything happens in regards to this new ruling it's going to be a stupid fiasco. The whole 'I told you so' 'This is why we had the whole DADT policy'. I really hope it doesn't come to that but you know the patterns of our stupidity tend to repeat themselves in the most predictable ways. I think it's great that we are trying to move in the right direction but it's just one of those things...It shouldn't matter if Chuck is straight or not he wrote Fight Club!

Why do soldiers need to be "out" anyway? How would that assist them in war? It shouldn't be a law to keep quiet, sure, but i don't know what i'm talking about so i'm going to bed.
