New Flash Fiction Market
The Fates have aligned and somehow I am now officially an associate editor at a brand new ezine and print magazine. So before someone changes their mind and fires me, I thought I'd share our launch with you: Issue 0 is out today. You can get your copy at:
As well as find out about out future release dates and submission guidelines.
We focus on flash and micro fiction pieces in most genres and styles. We are also highly interested in craft and offer essays and discussion on that as well.
We also encourage you to share our magazine at your discretion. We would like as many people who may be interested in our magazine to have access. We have a have both a Twitter (@SixMinuteMag) and a Facebook page. Please feel free to follow us there as well.
"...human speech is like a cracked tin kettle, on which we hammer out tunes to make bears dance when we long to move the stars."
Issue zero looks great. Nice work. I wish you let us know earlier. I would've submitted something for that first issue. I think I have a few cool very short piece you might be interested in.
Though there is this to consider, pulled from the submission guidelines:
Adult content is not accepted. This includes sexual situations, a high concentration of expletives, or overly graphic portrayals. Much of this is according to taste. In general, if the story couldn’t be shown on network television, it’s probably inappropriate.
Bummer.
I totally read the thread title as 'New Slash Fiction Market' and all kinds of questions came to mind.
cool, will try to send something over

Thrilled to be a part of this -Thanks for the mention!
Yeah I got a chance to read Issue 1 in full the other day and dug the articles.
And the stories are all good -Really liked "On The Sly" by Ron Phillips and "Scallop" by Len Kuntz -But I did like them all, actually. Liked the "Missed Connections" pieces too. Good stuff.
