If you know me in the slightest degree, the last thing you'd expect to see on my desk is a magazine called Bust Down the Door and Eat All the Chickens, but here it is. It's a "Journal of Absurd and Surreal Fiction". I bought it cuz I like Shane Jones. I have a little hand sown chapbook of his, released through Cannibal Books, called The Nightmare Filled You with Scary. I have a lot of his work, published by places such as Fugue State Press, Greying Ghost, and Scrambler Books. But this thread isn't about him (though he does rule, his book Light Boxes, released in an edition of 500, was optioned by Spike Jonze). This is about the scene he belongs to, indie lit. So who else is into this stuff? Go.
