First Edition, First Printing Question
Hey everyone,
I need a little bit of help from some of you that know these things much better than I do. I would like to get some first edition, first printings of some of Chuck's novels. I have read about the number line and what not to identify first printings but have a question.
I was just wondering do the ten numbers have to be in order for it to be a first printing (ie. 1234567890)? Or does it just need to have all ten numbers?
Thanks in advance!

No it needs to have a 10 in there too
Depends on, I would assume, the publisher. I've many books that go 1234567890, with a zero. Or, of course, 0987654321. And 1357908642. Etc..
Either way, I've not seen any where the 10 (or 0) disappeared before the 1.
That said, Noah is besties with Chuck, Doubleday, St Helen's Books, and a really tough looking guy standing over my shoulder making me write this, so I would defer to him in this matter.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I'm glad I was still able to get a first, first of Damned. I thought maybe it'd have gone into it's second printing.

As long as it's got the 1 you're golden.
