What did you learn today?
I learned new research shows that within the brains and neural tissue of cockroachs are antimicrobial compounds that hold potential for creating newer, safer antibiotics for human use in fighting ultra-resistant pathogens.

Don't make me argue with you over my jokes again! Golly!
I did copy and paste "ultra-resistant pathogens." and double check the spelling on "antimicrobial". Other than that the only difference is that it is less rambly and summed up better than when I speak.
But phooey, second post ruiner. The point is we might have cockroach brain antibiotics soon. And I want to know what random weird stuff other people learned, perferably told in their voice of humor.
That is brilliant!
How do you do this?

did he just do this recently? Because i don't think he's been that "famous" for at least 3-4 years now.
I learned that if all the bones in your foot were just one big bone, that you wouldn't be able to walk. That the pressure of taking a single step would instantly break your one footbone.

ANIMAL FACTS
As of the 1990s, some mules are now fertile. So far this only applies to female mules but given enough time they could become their own species or something.
Also, the number of tigers in captivity in the US outnumbers the tigers left still in the wild. Most of them are pets. There was an explosion of tiger babies in the 80s and 90s, driving the price of tigers way down. This is probably because of Scarface

And that my grammar sucks today. I learned that too.
Rabbits love crunched-up ramen noodles.
I learned that Killer Whales (Orca) are the fiercest hunters in the Ocean next to us Humans. Apparently they now even Hunt and eat Great White Sharks and learned a trick to kill them very easily. Apparently they learned this trick with Sharks thyat our scientists had also figured out. Just like Alligators if you flip them upside down they go to sleep. However since Great Whites need to keep moving to be able to breathe all the Orca did was flip it over and hold it there for 15 minutes exactly and the shark couldn't even fight back. So now they pretty much eat and hunt anything on the ocean. If they had thumbs I'd say watch out.

Today I learned what a "microbial" was from reading that article cause I had to google it!
