I didn't mean it to be a parody thread. I meant it to be exactly what the title suggests: A place to post posts I didn't want to actually post in the other thread. I was gonna post some responses to Liberium69, too... but I decided not to feed the troll.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's exactly when it's most productive, because it might actually have a positive impact. Politics is an important topic, one that if left ignored, we would wind up as the puppets.

The guy came up to me and insulted me, when I just stated my position as part of a joke. If he felt that strongly about it, he should be able to defend his position, and the fact that he came up to me in the first place signals to me that either he wanted to discuss it or he's just a dick that likes to talk but hates to explain, which is simply not respectable. I was having a nice chat with xec8, but this mentality that surrounds this place seems to make it a bit difficult to want to discuss something as "boring" as politics.
