Buffalo is native to Africa, there is no buffalo in North America. None. Buffalo means buffalo, and bison means bison, buffalo never can mean buffalo. So for any of those buffalo time infinity sentences, they're implying that an African Buffalo somehow made it to Buffalo, New York.
