what about the differences?
hey guys,
i am writting a term paper about fight club and this is how i found this website
i actually cannot believe you havent discussed that subject already. for that matter i may be too new and/or dumb to find this topic.
well, people say the adaption is a proper one. i would rather agree that the movie is awesome for sure, although(?) there are a few changes:
first of all, of course, the formal one: the chronology. then, the end needs to be mentionned. also, i want to write something about the introduction of tyler (plane / beach).
what do you think? are there any other changes worth mentioning?
btw: feel free to help me with my term paper
i am from germany (originally from russia, in fact) and i have to write in english. if you are interested in my work or just nice: i could really use a proofreader.
greetings,
crappy crap

How about the ending being completely different? Oh, and the Ireland bit is missing. And the birthmark on the foot, too.
Also, you should listen to the optional audio commmentary on the DVD with Chuck because he points out a lot of stuff that's different or was cut out completely.
Yeah, its actually been discussed innumerable times over the lifespan of this site. You may have to get tricky with the Google. That's typicically all the homework help I am willing to provide as I am not nice.

it's not about homework actually because i'm focusing an other content. therefore it is no more homework help than your other topics, so i suggest keeping cool. i was just wondering

When asking a detailed question never mention that you are writing a paper, doing homework, or anything else having to do with school. It will quickly turn everyone away.
Mentioning school isn't bad in and of itself, but saying, in effect, "I have an assignment and I have decided to, rather than do it myself, let all of you do the work for me," is considered somewhat poor form.
What class is this for? What is your paper on, specifically? Simply the differences between the two? I'd suggest:
- (Re-)Reading the book.
- (Re-)Watching the movie.
- Making a note of all the differences you find.
Hope this helps.

wtf is wrong with you?
as i said, it's not about school. i already found out the differences (myself, wow, can you believe that?), i am now focusing on their impression on the reader and fincher's intentions behind the changes.
i simply was wondering about the fact that there is no such topic in this forum. i'd find it rather interesting to discuss about the differences.
but apart from that, what is the big deal for you actually? no one is ever expecting you to write a term paper of round about 12 pages for them. it is never about "let all of you do the work", jeeeesuuus, are you paranoid or something ô_ô
the only thing i though might be interesting for you AND helpful for me is the so called proofreading i mentionned. omg, i am selfish.

Freaking out and getting all worked up also isn't a good idea. There are forums on this topic. See [Search the Cult]
"for that matter i may be too new and/or dumb to find this topic."
Although Tuffy is one of our resident asshole, who we all appreciate, I think that his statement was general advice, not an attack. And the commentary is a good place to look being that Chuck himself talks about the differences.
And with that being said, Yes, we are all very paranoid.
Yeah, Tuffy, what the fuck is wrong with you?!
I want more than them
That's the difference
1.(Re-)Reading the book.
2.(Re-)Watching the movie.
3.Making a note of all the differences you find.
4. Train myself to capitalize the first letter of every sentence and the letter "I" when I use it as a pronoun to refer to myself
I added something. I hope it helps!

How they harvested the fat was a nice little change.
