I don't want to sound mean or anything, but that portrait looks nothing like Chuck Palahniuk. In fact, because the eye features are not shaped too clearly, it could be about anybody, from Ghandi to Trent Reznor. Again - I'm not aiming to be a hater here and I'm far from implying your friend is not a good artist.

Well it's a close up abstract version of this specific picture, in which his eyes ARE in shadow.

And I'm not offended, it's a piece of art for my personal enjoyment, it wasn't meant to look exactly like him as much as represent him which I think it does, or at least for me.

Your friend did an amazing job. I definitely see Chuck in there, love his abstract interpretation.

It's really more expressionist than anything else.

And it looks like Eddie Norton.

I see it too. I think it's good, I wouldn't buy it but I can appreciate it.

I recognized it as Chuck but mainly because that's one of my favorite Pictures of him. Good Job with it all the same.

not bad, but the eyes are way creepy. I feel like he's going to eat my soul.

Definitely recognisable, but not the sort of thing I'd want on my wall. Different strokes for different folks!
