Usually by now an interviewer has asked Chuck what his next novel will be... But nothing yet. Anyone heard anything?

I really wish he'd just take a year or two off and then just drop a bomb of a book after three years working on it. This book a year business has produced some really forgettable fluff.

I think his contract is for a book a year. He said in an interview he's working on book 2 of damned but I doubt that will be his new novel if he's still writing it.

And putting a book out a year doesn't mean he's writing a novel every year. He said Damned took him over 2 years to write.

And from what I've read about it, it looks like the best one he's done since maybe Haunted. That extra time working on them can only make them better.
Not sure if this would be the next book but Chuck has mentioned that Damned is part one of a trilogy. We all heard this about Rant so we'll see if anything comes of it.
I expect details to come out soon regarding his next book - possibly during the tour.
